Dr. Steve Leavitt, DCEM
I’m a Doctor of Chinese Energetic Medicine, having completed an intensive four-year program. My journey into healing is ongoing—I’m currently continuing my studies as a Doctor of Medical Qigong to deepen my understanding, practice, and to be of greater service. I also serve as an Assistant Instructor at the Elements of Life Institute, where I help guide others in their own healing and energetic development.
Before stepping into this path, I spent 12 years in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic and Senior Enlisted Soldier, working in an emergency room in active combat zone, training and mentoring soldiers for medical missions worldwide, and ultimately overseeing large-scale medical readiness operations for over 8,000 troops before being medically retired.
Beyond medicine, my exploration of spiritual and energetic mysticism has profoundly shaped my approach to healing. I’ve studied  Daoist Mysticism for four years, Buddhist Mysticism for three years, and Christian Mysticism for a year and a half. I’ve also dedicated two years to studying Tai Chi in Sifu Singh’s new Life Force Tai Chi Program, and am a Certified Level 1 coach, integrating its principles of movement, breath, and energy cultivation into my work.
By blending physical, energetic, and spiritual wisdom, I help people reconnect with their natural ability to self-heal and self-regulate, offering a holistic path to deep healing and balance in today’s fast-paced world.
