The Path of Study
Four Tiers of Chinese Energetic Medicine

Chinese Energetic Medicine is learned the way it has always been passed down, one threshold at a time. The path moves through four tiers, each resting on the one before it: Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, Master, and Doctor. You begin by cultivating your own qì and learning to feel it move. You arrive, in time, with the discernment to guide others and the maturity to teach. Between those two points lies a formation that is clinical, energetic, and spiritual at once.

1
Tier One

Practitioner

Everything begins here. The Practitioner tier roots you in the foundations of Chinese Energetic Medicine: cultivating qì, understanding your own energetic anatomy, and learning the Three Regulations of posture, breath, and intent. From there you develop perception and protection and the first reading of another person's field, then move into clinical qì emission and the matching of prescriptions, sounds, and self-massage to the organ systems. Four courses carry you to the Medical Qìgōng Practitioner Certification, the ground on which everything that follows is built.

Tier Two

Advanced Practitioner

With the foundations in place, the Advanced Practitioner tier turns inward and refines. You deepen posture, breath, and ShΓ©n, sharpen your intuitive, empathic, and kinesthetic perception, work with the energetic properties of stones, gems, and FΔ“ngshuǐ, and enter the internal mechanics of NΓ¨igōng and the Sixteen Internal Principles. This is where skill becomes embodiment. Four courses rise to the Advanced Practitioner Certification, confirming that you can perceive, cultivate, and work with another person from a grounded and clear center.

Tier Three

Master

The Master tier carries clinical maturity into the deeper and more demanding terrain of the work. You study the energetics of neurology and aging, the qì-based support of clients living with cancer, the relationship between faith, radiant light, and the emotional life of the organs, the recognition of Shén disturbance and spiritual crisis, and the cultivation of the Three Powers of Heaven, Earth, and Man. Five courses lead to the Master Certification, where energetic skill, ethical restraint, and spiritual sensitivity are held together in one practice.

Tier Four

Doctor

The Doctor tier gathers the whole of your training into a single embodiment. You enter the subtle architecture of the Tàijí Pole, its three dāntiÑn and Twelve Chakra Gates, then move through women's energetic health across the full arc of fertility, pregnancy, and restoration, the emotional alchemy that turns imbalance in the organs into wisdom and virtue, and the discernment required to work with thought-forms and spirit influence. It closes with Medical Qìgōng as a Daoist nèidān path, in which your own cultivated field becomes the vessel through which the work moves. Five courses rise to the Doctor Certification, the culmination of the entire course of study.
